I regret wasting a lot of my time today doomscrolling.

On one hand, I want to be aware of the news so I don’t end up becoming ignorant but at the same time, they’re just so mentally exhausting and depressing.

What’s the point of living? There’s so much class inequality where the rich become richer while the poor become poorer, systemic violence filled with exploitation, wars where many innocent people die , racism, transphobia, homophobia.

Sigh.

It’s so tiring. If it means having to wake up in this kind of world, sometimes, I’d rather not wake up at all.

Yet I know being nihilistic isn’t the way to go and I have to do what I can to help those in need,

And fight for a better future.

It’s just so overwhelming. I get easily discouraged with everything that’s going on. 😦

Anyway,

Sorry for this short, sad note. I’ll have to unplug from news sites and forums starting tomorrow. (Temporarily, can’t just detach myself away from this forever) ORZ
